Time for School

We will be going back to school in 2 days now. I haven't totally decided if I'm excited or not yet, but we will know soon enough. I will be at the High School this year and I'm looking forward to that. We have gotten a lot of school shopping done but will probably have to take one more trip. But these are some of the sweet buys we did get:
My Backpack
My Watch
My Ring
 My Jeans
  My Lunchbox

There is nothing like back to school bargains:)

The Freshman Project

This morning I got up and went to a meeting for "The Freshman Project". We will be handing out bibles to our peers throughout the year. I ask for your prayer that the more hesitant ones would have open hearts and minds about the whole thing.
My good friend Angel, who started the project, will be helping me, we have been buddies since we were little kids:)

Bringing Back Some Memories:)

We have been going on a major cleaning streak and along the way we found lots of great old pictures, I never realized how cute of a little kid I was until now:)

My hair at 2 is exactly like it is now, just thinner:)

My Addiction

All these days while I have been sitting around at home i have been watching Little House on the Prairie re-runs:) I have always been a big fan of the show but since I have had all this time I have just gotten wrapped back into it.  Most people like the sweet happy ones, but the major dramatic ones are my favorite:)

4th of July Weekend

Well we have a tradition that we do on 4th July, we go to my aunt and uncle's house and celebrate the 4th of July and Daddy's birthday. This year, we also celebrated Uncle Tracy's birthday. Daddy got two grills(gas & charcoal) for his birthday; they are nice. We had a great time at the Alexander's.....we swam, ate and played a very dramatic game of Phase 10.
Before you even ask, Uncle Tracy got a new, gross Alabama towel for his birthday.....

These are my cute hamburger cupcakes - they are cupcakes (cut in half) with a brownie in the middle.

Can't you just feel all the intense vibes in the room at the middle of this game?

And this is last year, when we got a item (a.k.a: a watermelon) -
that isn't meant to be a pool toy - and turned it into.....a pool toy!

This year our entertainment (suggested by Uncle Tracy) was a barrel,
which is actually a lot more entertaining then you would think!

We usually leave from there and go to Wetumpka to watch the fireworks show on the river,
but this year Dad and I convinced Mom to let us get some fireworks to do on our own.  :)
That was great; and no need to worry, it was just a few small un-dangerous things.
It was a great day of food, family, and fun. I hope your was just as Great!

Father's Day

This Father's day at church our praise band "Ephesus" performed once again at church for the first time in a while.
And then we came home and had presents with my awesome daddy then went out to eat for dinner.
(Just in case you are wondering you can"t see his face but that s trooper by daddy's head)

It has been a crazy month and I haven't made much time for blogging but I hope y'all haven't given up on me:)
